Chamber of Commerce Board Members at Charitable Christmas Luncheon
The Spruce Grove & District Chamber of Commerce thanks the Kinette Club of Spruce Grove and Parkland Food Bank for providing the chamber and it's members the opportunity to give back to the community at Christmas and throughout the year. This year many chamber businesses donated to the Kinettes for hampers, to the food bank for their increased needs of food products and the community as a whole contribute to the Parkland Children's Christmas Party to ensure that many families challenged during the Christmas Season have the opportunity to relax for one evening and enjoy food, refreshments and the hospitality of the many volunteers. This year the joint chambers of commerce were able to support the Parkland Children's Christmas party with funds raised at the Chambers of Commerce Awards 2014, November 18th in the amount of $3,250.00. The Spruce Grove & District Chamber of Commerce raised an additional $1,200.00 at the Charitable Christmas Luncheon on December 12th.
